Former spoilers and rumors

  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Miles and Kate find a hidden hatch.
    • TRUE, though it is the destroyed Swan hatch.
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant), DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Six of these things are true - Juliet survives the bomb, Juliet does not survive the bomb, Kate and Sawyer flirt, Kate and Sawyer kiss, Juliet and Sawyer kiss, Jack and Sayid touch lips, and there is a sad Sawyer scene (Juliet dying).
    • TRUE, the untrue item is Kate and Sawyer kissing.
  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): In the alternate timeline, Charlie is the one who asks "am I alive?" Boone and Locke have a discussion. Sawyer is back to being a con man. Arzt and Hurley discuss Mr. Cluck's. Jin has money issues. Christian's coffin never made it on the plane. Kate steals something from Jack. Jack and Locke discuss Locke's knives.
    • TRUE
  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Much of the premiere takes place on flight 815. Desmond is onboard. The statue is "seen" from the plane. Jack meets Kate and saves Charlie. Kate beats up Edward Mars. Juliet dies after a final kiss. Jacob will appear to Hurley. Sawyer and Jack fight again.
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): We will see Desmond again very early in the season. He has a surprising scene with another character.
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): In the premiere, either Sayid "dies," or Sayid kills Jack. Note numerous earlier spoilers stating Sayid's wounds are healed at the Temple.
    • TRUE, Sayid "dies."
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): One of the following is true: Locke is related by blood to Widmore and Jack, or Locke (or Jacob's nemesis) does something insane with a character from the first episode, then says "I'm sorry you had to see me like that."
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): The phrases "Am I alive?", "It turned out she did not want out", "I wanted you to be able to go home", "I was killed by an *** ******", and "I was supposed to die" will be spoken in the first six hours of the season. Three different characters will be apprehended by the authorities.
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): Shannon will be absent from the beginning of the season in the alternate timeline because of a significant change to Boone and Shannon's backstory. Sawyer will kiss someone in the first four hours of the season.
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): Miles will relate a message from a dead character. One of the following about the Ajira group is true: they were sent by Widmore to kill Ben, they were sent by Jacob's nemesis to destroy the island's time travel mechanism, they were sent to protect Jacob, or they were sent to revive Locke.
    • TRUE, they were sent to protect Jacob.
  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Sayid is kidnapped, healed, and tortured by the Others at the Temple. Jacob is involved. Richard smoothes things over between the two sides.

Another beloved season 1 character will almost kill himself but will be stopped by Jack (Charlie, according to DarkUFO).
    • TRUE
  • Kristin Dos Santos (E! Online correspondant): A new villain who is even more frightening than Ben will be appearing. The villain killed "**h*" (Echo[sic] or John) and "***o*" (the pilot or Jacob), is actually the Monster, and wants to "go home."
    • TRUE

Jack gets angry because something happened to Christian's coffin. Boone and Locke have a conversation. Kate escapes from Edward Mars and carjacks a taxi which contains Claire. They drive to Hurley's former house, except now the couple who wanted to adopt Aaron live there. They refuse to adopt Aaron, and then Claire goes into labor.
