The following is a list of general spoilers for season 6 of Lost. It is not known specifically which episode each spoiler happens in. When the correct episode is known, the spoiler will be moved to the episode's page.

Former season 6 spoilers and rumors

  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): As of "What They Died For", Sun, Sayid, Ilana, and Widmore all die.

  • Damon Lindelof (Co-creator, writer), Carlton Cuse (Writer, producer): Richard and Ilana will exchange words. Some last names have significance. Jack is married to someone we have met before. Someone really is coming to the island. We will learn if Desmond really was on the plane. The Hurley bird and Walt may be seen again.

  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Hurley meets someone from Richard's past and relays a message to him in a sad scene. The Man in Black has a true nemesis, and it is not Jacob.
    • TRUE, Hurley meets Richard's wife and the Man in Black's original nemesis was his adoptive mother.
  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): There are many deaths in the first nine episodes. The Monster "wipes out a lot of people" and "does not like seamen".

Aldo, Keamy, Omar, and newcomers Dogen and Lennon are "not long for this world;" some will be killed by a trained soldier. Cindy, Zach, and Emma reappear. Locke and Sawyer literally read crucial writing on a wall. Sawyer stumbles upon a "macabre pile," newcomer Kendall, and a trap. Jack is a father in the alternate timeline, and Claire nearly kills Kate.

  • Carlton Cuse (Writer, producer): The person or people who were ultimately responsible for the gassing of the DHARMA Initiative will be seen this season.
    • TRUE, through a chain of events, Kate and Sawyer are technically responsible because they saved Ben's life.
  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Casting is going on for a 26 year old Aaron and Ji Yeon for a scene that takes place in 2030.

  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): A rumor states that Holland Roden, who played the young Emily Locke in "Cabin Fever," will return for an episode this season for a scene with Richard.

  • DarkUFO (Spoiler source): The crew is using two large sailing ships, several hundred years old, for a chase scene that likely involves the Black Rock.
    • FALSE, while the Black Rock appears in "The Incident," it is clearly CGI and there is no chase.
  • Doug Hutchison (Horace Goodspeed): He will return for several episodes this season.
